Vesuvius Table

THE VESUVIUS TABLE G.Mark award no. 272 from the W.C.F.M.

An ingenious tri-formed table, hand-formed from planed 3mm solid wooden splats of rare wood. The Vesuvius table formation appears as if peeled back from the apex of a three sided pyramid, each particular facia forming a three positional support for a plate-glass circular top. A stunning precision made masterpiece available in two different wood combinations: Solid Swiss Pearwood & Ebony or Solid Ripple Sycamore with English Walnut.

The Vesuvius table can be created in the wood combinations shown below - coffee table size - as well as in a larger dining table variant. Both variants come with the prestigious Craft Guildmark award bestowed by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. These awards have been given rarely since the scheme's formation by the London Livery company  in the 1950’s.

The Vesuvius table is Guildmark no. 272 and a copy of the award goes with each commission.
