THE DESK HAS A PATENT,HIDDEN PEN STORAGE IN THE FORM OF THREE ROTATING PERSPEX & WALNUT CYLINDERS WITH A HIDDEN SECRET DRAWER.
The Light Fusion Desk
The Light fusion desk is a truly unique one-off masterpiece. A unique fusion of transparent perspex and solid walnut are uniquely bonded together allowing light to pass through the legs and up through the top giving a funky modern & contemporary feel, This technique has never been done before.
The desk is built within the tradition of the fine art of Master cabinet making, with hand-cut dovetailing and using the finest rare timbers with a solid top of fine-figured ripple sycamore.
The piece also incorporates a unique front turned roller barrelled pen store, in the form of a pleasing full width front detail moulding in three sections with Walnut stop stays. These front rotating details are finely turned and are made from alternating walnut and orange Perspex.
